Night of Religions

Night of Religions, best way to celebrate religious diversity

For several hours, over 50 communities will open their doors for residents to learn more about them.

For the fourth year running, Night of Religions is opening the doors of religious and spiritual communities and organisations. The event is promoted by the UNESCO Association for Interreligious Dialogue and aims to make the whole population aware of our great cultural diversity. Participants will be able to visit Christian centres of a variety of dominations, as well as Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Baha’i, Hindu, Sikh and non-religious centres, among others. Each participating space will host activities designed for all types of people and geared towards building bridges and opening up dialogue between the various religions, spiritual beliefs, faiths and world views in our country. There will be guided tours, workshops, live music and theatre, conferences, typical food and much more. You can choose from loads of stuff on the event programme.

The Night of Religions activities will be held all day on Saturday 14 September and in the morning on Sunday 15 September. You’ll find things to do at more than 50 spaces all over the city of Barcelona. The event will kick off at 12:30 pm at the Francesca Bonnemaison centre with a concert featuring music from various cultures around the world performed by Burruezo & Medievalia Camerata.

All of the activities are open to the public and free of charge. More information is available on the AUDIR website.
