Les nits del Palau Güell with the best music

Enjoy a tour through the building and a concert with appetisers and a glass of cava on the Modernisme-style terrace.

The Palau Güell is one of the buildings that most clearly shows architect Antoni Gaudí’s incalculable talent. It is one of the most iconic commissions that his patron and friend, Eusebi Güell, gave him, in part because of its terrace, where he envisioned chimneys as architectural sculptures for the first time and clad some of them with his famous trencadís (broken tile mosaic). This space will once again host Les nits del Palau Güell (Nights at the Palau Güell). In July and August, visitors may take a stroll around the most important spaces in the palace, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. Later, they will be taken to the terrace, where they will enjoy a concert featuring different styles of bands, in order: The Lindy Hoppers Band, The Oldians, Wax and Boogie Rhythm Combo, The Velvet Candles, Alberto Tarín Blues & Soul Trio, Chino & The Big Bet and The Kinki Coo Coo's. The evening will also come with a glass of cava and an appetiser, accompanied by impressive views which, back in Güell’s day, only the servants could see when they were hanging the laundry, or the Güell family themselves when they wanted to show guests the landscape of the city under construction.

Les nits del Palau Güell will be from 4 July to 22 August, every Thursday except 15 August. The tour begins at 8:30 pm and the evening ends at 10:30, after a one-hour concert.

Tickets are selling for 35 euros. You can buy yours on the Palau Güell website.
