Observing the city from the CCCB

The contemporary culture centre will open its Sala Mirador to the public on specific days.

There are many cultural venues that, beyond their exhibitions and the activities they organize, have an added value in and of themselves. One example is the CCCB Centre for Contemporary Culture, which is located in the heart of the Raval. One of its most emblematic places in the museum is the Sala Mirador, from which you can catch magnificent views of Barcelona, the sea, the Gothic Quarter and Ciutat Vella, Tibidabo, Montjuïc... It’s well worth the climb!

However, this space is by no means open to the public all the time. It usually opens its doors on the first Sunday of the month, but when the good weather arrives the schedules change and become more generous. For example, it will be open for the Feast of Sant Joan, on Sunday 24 June, on 8 and 22 July, every Sunday in August, and on 2 and 23 September. Starting In October the schedule goes back to normal and you can see the panoramic views from the Mirador on the first Sunday of every month from 11am to 8pm. Admission is free of charge.
