Palau de la Musica pays a lyrical tribute to 80’s hits
During the months of July and August, the sounds from the marvellous pop and rock decade will be presented with the best known musicals of the time
What would happen if we gathered the jewels from the pure pop from the 80’s with the famous and emotional musicals written in that period? The musical answer to this attractive mystery is the performance that you will be able to hear in the Classic 80’s hits, a very peculiar concert cycle that starts on 27th of July and will be held all summer long at Palau de la Musica.
The greatest songs by Queen, Spandau Ballet or Police, to name just a few, join the chords with the orchestration of the musicals like The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables or Miss Saigon, a lyrical tribute without precedent.
