Phenomena Summer Nights
Summer dates with the best in comedy cinema
Under the title of Phenomena Summer Nights, the organisers of the popular series, Phenomena, present a film cycle especially designed to alleviate the hot summer evenings.
The Phenomena series has earned its inclusion in cinema lovers’ calendars thanks to the revival of classic films, principally from the 70s and 80s; films that form part of the collective memory of more than one generation and which can now be seen once again in a relaxed, festive atmosphere.
On this occasion the Phenomena series has opted for comedy and, on Thursdays, the Cinemes Girona will be screening cinematic gems that have earned their place in the Mount Olympus of laughter since the birth of the seventh art. The Pink Panther, by Blake Edwards (8/08), Manhattan, by Woody Allen (15/08), The Great Dictator, by Charles Chaplin (22/08) and Monty Python and the Holy Grail (29/08) are the films programmed for the month of August. Sessions commence at 9pm and tickets are priced at 6€.
