El Poble Espanyol returns with a renewed spirit

Live music, DJ sessions, family shows, craft workshops.etc. El Poble Espanyol, a space of more than 40,000 m2 located at the Montjuïc mountain, wants to return with full force after the halt caused by the pandemic, and wants to do so "with a renewed spirit," say those in charge of the festival. This renovation will partly be compulsory, since the hygiene and capacity measures that the current situation requires must evidently be followed, but these shutdown weeks have also been used as an opportunity to think of new proposals. In addition, a special price of 6€ has been established for tickets these first few days after reopening, a reopening that will take place on Thursday, June 11th.

Among the first cycles programmed, and since summer is right around the corner, we will find RiuEstiu’s monologues. They will be held on Saturday nights from the 20th of June, and throughout July and August. Dani Pérez, Eva Cabezas, Patricia Espejo, Gerard Borrell or Tian Lara are just some of the artists who have already confirmed their presence. And if Saturday nights are dedicated to humor, Thursday nights, starting on the 18th of June, will be dedicated to music, with the Barrica Rock & Grill - Limited Edition festival. The event, starring tribute bands of emblematic historic rock groups, extends its dates and reduces capacity in order to adapt to the current moment. Attitude For Destruction BCN, a Guns N'Roses tribute group, will be the first to take the stage.
