Premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s ‘The Hateful Eight’

'The Hateful Eight' is set to premiere in spanish cinemas on 15 January.

Tarantino is back. And he’s back in style, with a group of prestigious actors headed by L. Jackson and Kurt Russell, with music by the iconic Ennio Morricone, who has composed the soundtrack for more than 500 films and TV series. The Hateful Eight, his latest film, is set in the years immediately following the American Civil War when a pair of bounty hunters, a prisoner and a sheriff find themselves waiting out a storm together with four strangers. But violence soon breaks out and… you can imagine the rest.

'The Hateful Eight' is set to premiere in Spanish cinemas on 15 January after its US premiere on 25 December. Reviews have been extremely positive si it’s pretty much a must-see. And there’s a surprise in store for movie-goers at Sala Phenomena, the only Spanish cinema to screen the film the way that Quentin Tarantino intended: in Ultra Panavison 70 mm roadshow style, with a special opening, an interlude and extra 6 minutes. You can catch the film at Phenomena on Friday 15, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 and it’s be on for longer at other cinemas. Don’t miss it!
