Raval gets 3 spaces in disuse for cultural projects

Som Atents, Scanner FM and Konnekta't have inaugurated their premises in Princep de Viana Street with the help of Mentrestant project.

Mentrestant is a project conceived by Espai Mentrestant and powered by the Barcelona Council through the ICUB, the Department of Commerce and the Ciutat Vella District, within the Cultural Raval plan.

The project involves the revitalization and revitalization of the Príncep de Viana Street through the reuse of empty spaces. This initiative aims to revive and energize the neighborhood with cultural projects, business and proposals linked to music, creativity, education or training.

Yesterday we attended the opening of three new spaces in Príncep de Viana Street, which offered open house for everybody with a program of free events. The opening of these spaces was accompanied by live music by the Marxing Band from El Taller de Músics, which was encouraging participants during the event.

The three new premises are occupied by the yoga studio Konnekta't, the online radio Scanner FM and the journalism collective Som Atents. Three projects in the cultural field that will help energize and give a new character to Príncep de Viana Street.
