The New Raemon

The music rises again in the Castle of Montjuïc

Concerts by The New Raemon, Joe Crepúsculo and Guadalupe Plata are part of the Sala Barcelona project.

The autumn edition of Sala Barcelona had planned twenty concerts by local and national bands in the Patio de Armas of the Castle of Montjuïc. Unfortunately, the second big wave of the pandemic and the new restrictions changed the initial intentions. However, the music is now back in the historic venue, and in this final stretch of November you can enjoy live performances by The New Raemon, Joe Crepúsculo and Guadalupe Plata. In addition, the first days of December will see the AMFestival, also inside Sala Barcelona.

Ramón Rodríguez, better known by his stage name The New Raemon, will take the stage on the 27th. Since leaving the group Madee and starting a solo career, he has released seven albums; the last one, entitled Coplas del andar torcido, is the one he will present acoustically in Montjuïc. The next day will be Joe Crepúsculo, followed by Cabiria, who will bring his pop to the castle, with a repertoire based on Supercrepus II, a recently released album in which he revisits the one that, twelve years ago, marked a turning point in his career. And the month will close musically in the Patio de Armas with Guadalupe Plata, a blues-rock group with touches of psychedelia and flamenco. He will perform on Sunday 29th.

The AMFestival will take place on the 4th, 5th and 6th of December. However, at the time of writing, there are only tickets left for the last day, with Gyoza, Ànteros and Murina as the line-up.

Sala Barcelona is a project promoted by the Associació de Sales de Concerts de Catalunya (ASACC) in collaboration with the ICUB, the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona. More information and tickets, here.
