Serializados Fest reaches its third edition

Arts Santa Mònica to host most of the festival activities from the 7th to the 10th of April

The third edition of Serielizados Fest, Barcelona’s international TV series festival, is set to begin at the Arts Santa Mònica main building and at other citywide venues including Sala Epidor (Cinema Maldà) and the CCCB theatre. Among the highlights of this edition is a masterclass by David Simon, the creator of series like The Wire and Treme.

As well as activities featuring David Simon, Serielizados Fest will feature an extensive four-day programme with screenings of previously unseen footage, talks by professionals working in the sector, the premiere of chapters of series like Fear The Walking Dead, Inside Amy Schumer and Broad City, a tribute to the best series of the year and musical and comedy performances.

To bring the festival to a close, the Fàbrica Moritz will host the Late Show with highlights like an interview by Òscar Broc with the singer Josmar Gerona about his experience on the set of Game of Thrones, comic Ignatius Farray, and the presence of Miguel Esteban and Raúl Navarro, creators of the series El Fin de la Comedia, and all with the humour of Martín Piñol.
