A new edition of the Suite Festival
Gran Teatre del Liceu, the stage for the best artists and luxury concerts.
To be able to play on the stage of the Gran Teatre del Liceu must be the dream of all musicians, and to fill the theatre with its capacity for over 2,000 people is surely a challenge. The Suite Festival aims to fulfil this goal with its desire to bring together the best national and international groups and bands to make the event one of the city’s most special festivals. This year’s edition opens on Friday 21 February with the Madrid-based band TEQUILA. After splitting up and reuniting so many times, the group returns with its ‘Adiós TEQUILA Tour’ to say farewell to its beloved fans.
The following concerts will not be until 25, 28 and 29 June, when the Liceu’s stage will be filled by Sebastián Yatra, the Colombian singer and composer who has been nominated for the Latin GRAMMYs on several occasions. Wilco is coming back with their new album ‘Ode to Joy’, where they show that happiness is found in small everyday things, despite the dark climate in which we live. Il Volo will completely change the register performing the best songs of their 10-year career, in a tour that started in May 2019.
The last concert will take place on 19 July with Roger Hodgson, the voice and co-founder of the legendary group Supertramp, and one of the best singers, songwriters and authors of our days. All the concerts will commence at 9.00 pm and the cost of the tickets will vary depending on the concert and location, ranging between €10.00 and €120.00. You can buy your tickets here.
