TEDxBarcelona: Next World
A view into the future in the fields of society, arquitecture, medicine and technology at the next TEDxBarcelona, on June 19, in Cosmocaixa
Would you like to know how you can rebuild bones, or how to generate energy through the movement of cars and people? Then do not miss the next TEDxBarcelona, which will take place on June 19 from 4PM to 8 PM in Cosmocaixa.
The theme will be: Next world, as we will view into the future in the fields of society, arquitecture, medicine and technology. There will be 8 speakers presenting great ideas and at the break there will be a small expo where you can see (and touch!) the newest inventions in the field of: 3d printing, augmented reality and “beacons”.
TED is an annual event where some of the world’s leading thinkers and doers are invited to share what they are most passionate about. “TED” stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, three broad subject areas that are, collectively, shaping our future. And in fact, the event is broader still, showcasing ideas that matter in any discipline.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
The TedxBarcelona, where x = independently organized TED event, combine live speakers related to the city of Barcelona (“Breakthroughs made in Barcelona”) and TEDTalks videos, to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
