Ten hours to make a video game

The CaixaForum is organising Game Jam: Dreams, a creative, technological and fun marathon session.

If you have ever wondered how to make a video game or you want to do it again, this Saturday 29 January the Game Jam: Dreams will take place at the Caixaforum. It is a 10-hour session in which you will be able to create your own video game through the Dreams® platform, an extraordinary and constantly expanding universe from the Media Molecule studio that will offer you the opportunity to test your creativity and innovation.

During the day, you will have the opportunity to consider what elements you want to include in your video game and how: from what kind of music, the storyline, what style you want for the creativities, what dynamics you would like to include, etc. In addition, during the session you will be accompanied by professionals from the sector such as Irene Espejo and Andrea Latorre, from the Gammera Nest studio.

This activity is part of the CaixaForum exhibition Homo Ludens, which is offering a new perspective on the concept of gamer and is a unique opportunity to delve into the world of video games. To participate in this game jam it is not necessary to have previous knowledge or bring any kind of material. However, people under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
