"We have to learn the enterpreneurship”
This has been one of the conclusions of the conference day ‘Emprendre des de la Universitat' put forward by the students in the Catalan Parliament during the celebration of Novum.
The conclusions of the conference day ‘Emprendre des de la Universitat’, which was held last April 15 in Barcelona Dhub have been the basis of the roadmap that was presented in the Parliament of Catalonia within the acts of Novum, the festival of science, technology and innovation driven by BCN Innovació. "We have to learn the enterpreneurship" or the need to "bring the university to business necessities" have been some of the highest exposed by students when presenting this compendium full of challenges. Increasing the presence of entrepreneurs in the faculty of the university, to involve businesses in educational institutions or reduce red tape and tax burdens were some ideas.
Students and institutional representatives have congratulated and highlighted the suitability of Novum as a platform to bring science, technology and innovation to citizenship. "Innovation can not be passenger. Has come to Barcelona to stay”, said Ciurana. And he encouraged those present to continue enjoying the acts of the festival, among which highlighted La festa de la ciència that this weekend is celebrated in the remodeled Plaça de les Glories.
Give value to science and knowledge to feed the enterpreneurship has been one of the proposals of the rector of the Universitat Ramon Llull beside the representative of the Catalan Association of Public Universities and CEO of Research of Generalitat de Catalunya. And all of them with the unanimous desire "not to leave here these ideas, keep talking," referring to this initiative that links university with entrepreneurship and bring it to the citizens.
