The Fundació Vila Casas is closed, but you can visit their exhibitions online

In the darkness of the Fundació Vila Casas

The contemporary art center compiles the most interesting proposals it has to replace closed exhibitions.

The fact that all the exhibitions of the Fundació Vila Casas are waiting in the darkness of the center does not mean that they cannot be enjoyed. The center ensures that you continue to have access to the works by making available to you different content on the web directly related to them. You can see a small sample with 20 representative works from the exhibition El meu compromís by the artist Guerrero Medina. The outstanding works are clear examples of Medina’s different creative stages and will still be available for you in the center until the end of May.

Enric Ansesa's 'Persistències' is available in a virtual catalog format with all the works in the exhibition, in which you will be able to walk through the pages of this online book, as well as containing the introduction written by Toni Álvarez de Arana, the curator of the exhibition. A review of Ansesa's work that identifies the artist's most common and persistent elements. In addition, the foundation has begun a cycle of interviews with those related to current exhibitions. You can hear Toni Ricart Giró speaking about ‘Saudades de Sao Paulo’ that opened in February about the photographic work of Palmira Puig and Marcel Giró.

Do not forget that the best way to be aware of the activities that the centers offer these days is by following their social networks. Culture and confinement go hand in hand!
