The IHB encourages you to visit its multimedia archive to retrieve courses and talks that they will carry on updating in the following days.

The Institut d’Humanitats de Barcelona (IHB) believes in debate and reflection as tools to understand the greatest issues about humanity and the world around us. The IHB organizes courses of all kinds - philosophy, literature, history, cinema, etc. - And now they suggest everyone to revisit these meetings thanks to its digital archive, which is full of videos and podcasts. Currently, it’s updating its fund so that you have even more material to enjoy and not only that, but it’s also creating itineraries under different themes to make it easier for you to navigate through the material.

The ¡feminismos! itinerary is one of the ones that are currently available. Within it there are several sessions, including the seminar ‘Pioneras del cine’ by Íngrid Guardiola and Marta Sureda that took place in July 2015, where the invisible contribution of women in different areas of cinema was claimed. If you would rather know about literature, you can also see the seminar ‘Cervantes y Shakespeare’ led by Andreu Jaume where, on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the death of both authors, a comparative reading of their works was proposed.

All the material in the archive is in video and/or podcast format. If you would rather do your own search, there are a large number of filters for you to personalize your feed.
