A virtual cinema for new movie premieres

A Contracorriente Films launches a virtual cinema for the premieres this April.

A Contracorriente Films has created the Sala Virtual de Cine initiative with the collaboration of a long list of cinemas, among which are the Verdi and Girona Cinemas in Barcelona, and others that are being added. This platform will work like other video platforms – like Netflix or FilmIn – with the difference that, once rented, you will have the film available for 72 hours.

From April 8th onwards, on this website you will be able to find Vivarium, a science fiction thriller with Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenber, Especiales, a French comedy drama about autism, and Hasta que la boda nos separe, a comedy directed by Dani de la Orden; from Friday the 10th, you will be able to watch La alegría de las pequeñas cosas, an Italian dramatic comedy where the protagonist dies by mistake and is given 92 more minutes of life; and from the 17th onwards, another dramatic comedy, Los profesores de Saint-Denis, which tells the story of Samia, the new headmistress of a school with a rather complicated reputation in a suburb of Paris. In addition, from April 6th you will have the opportunity to see La pasión en el arte, a new installment of 'Art season 2019 to 2020'.

The films will have a price of 6.95 euros and you can enjoy them on 4 different devices during the 72 hours of your rental. You can see them from the website or with the platform’s app, available for Smart TV, Apple TV and IOS and Android devices.
