Drawing machines. Continual drawing

Drawing machines is a performative workshop, where we will develop ways and techniques within the field of drawing, approaching the world of the first animations or proto-animation

Drawing machines is a performative workshop, where we will try to develop different ways and techniques of the materials used that will serve to participate in a collective experience of experimentation and creation.

Developed with 3 machines of 2 metres long, constructed by artisans and rolls of 30 metres long by about 60 cms wide.

In two-metre Drawing machines where we will place rolls of recording machines of about 5 cms wide by the length of the roll, which remind a bit of the first animated films. This format also allows us to work more intimately.

The rolls of 30 metres with their 60 cms in width. This allows more physical deployment, so the drawing will have a more expansive character.

The three Drawing machines will be arranged on tables, and the roll will be displayed in three tables of two metres each (6 metres in total). Each time we will move the roll to move it and get the desired result.

Drawing of lines, figures, prints, textures, frottage and music in the field of creation and experimentation proposed for this workshop.

In the words of Paul Klee, "drawing is taking a line for a walk".
