Until the end of the year, free guided tours of the Palau del Marquès d'Alfarràs in the Parc del Laberint will be taking place on Sundays and Wednesdays to introduce members of the public to this site of high heritage value where, over the past two years, a number of interventions have been carried out to consolidate the structure of the building and renovate the whole of the exterior façade.

The Palau del Marquès d'Alfarràs, also known as Palau Desvalls, is a heritage site with a history spanning over a thousand years, dating back to the 11th century when the building was just a watchtower.

In 1968 the building and gardens came under municipal ownership. Since 1993, part of the manor house has been used by the Laberint Training Centre to run courses and workshops on gardening, agriculture and biodiversity. It is now opening its doors to the general public.
