Exposició "Tomasa Cuevas"

El centre cívic Tomasa Cuevas acull una exposició permanent que convida a fer un recorregut per la vida de Tomasa Cuevas, l'activa militant comunista, lluitadora antifranquista, pionera del feminisme a l´Estat, i exemple de lluita, dignitat i memòria.

Detinguda i empresonada a diferents presons, al 1945 va ingressar a la presó de dones de les Corts. Després de quedar en llibertat, va viure diversos anys en la clandestinitat. Membre de l'Associació Catalana d'Expresos Polítics, ja en democràcia va escriure una trilogia sobre les dones a les presons franquistes. Des de fa quatre anys dona nom a un dels centres cívics del barri de les Corts.
