L’1 d’octubre, xerrada sobre la soledat no desitjada

La sala d’actes del Casal de Gent Gran de Vilapicina i la Torre Llobeta acollirà el proper 1 d’octubre, a partir de les 17 h, una xerrada sobre la soledat no desitjada. L’acte, que tindrà caràcter participatiu i anirà a càrrec de la investigadora social i consultora Elisa Sala, se celebrarà en el marc del Dia Internacional de la Gent Gran.

Dia Internacional de la Gent Gran

L’any 1990, l’Assemblea General de Nacions Unides va fixar l’1 d’octubre com el Dia Internacional de la Gent Gran, amb l’objectiu que les persones grans siguin per un dia veritables protagonistes i centre d’interès d’arreu del món, i difondre una imatge més positiva de l’envelliment.

La festivitat representa també una oportunitat per conscienciar la societat sobre l’estat en què es troba la gent gran i els desafiaments i problemes que afronten, així com per promoure accions apropiades per defensar-la i per respectar la seva dignitat i saviesa.
