The Generalitat of Catalunya has opened the call for PUA benefits, which aim to contribute to the expenses caused by the acquisition of products and actions intended to allow the promotion of personal autonomy of people with physical, mental or sensory disabilities with measures compensatory to improve their quality of life and promote their social integration. The deadline for submission of the application form is from July 11 to September 10, 2020.
The PUA call, promoted by the Department of Labor, Social Affairs and Families and the General Directorate of Personal Autonomy and Disability, is aimed at people who have a recognized degree of disability equal to or greater than 33% and who meet the conditions and the established requirements. It includes, for example, the acquisition of products such as braille keyboards, headphones, articulated beds or adapted computer equipment; among others.
