Nascut penedesenc, a Sant Pere de Riudebitlles, i ebrenc d’adopció –viu a la Ràpita–, el cantautor s’acomiada dels escenaris per un temps indefinit.

Després de 21 anys d’activitat professional ininterrompuda, amb més de 2.500 concerts i nou discos publicats, Cesk Freixas ha anunciat que vol aturar el seu projecte musical. La gira final, que passarà el 7 de febrer per Vilafranca del Penedès, es tancarà el diumenge 4 de maig a Barcelona, sempre acompanyat de la seva banda.
