Qui som? Què ens defineix? D'entre els milions de respostes possibles (tantes com persones?), sens dubte moltes farien referència al nostre aspecte extern. Però, és tan important, això? El to de la pell, dels cabells o dels ulls ens identifica, i això es deu a la genètica. A través de l'anàlisi dels diferents patrons de pigmentació, la comunitat científica ha pogut avançar en la identificació dels gens que dirigeixen aquests colors al món animal, incloent-hi l'humà.

Però, hi ha altres trets determinats també pels nostres gens que influeixen en el comportament individual i social? I fins a quin punt la cultura social també és genètica? En aquesta sessió, l'expert el biotecnologia i bioètica Lluís Montoliu mirarà de donar resposta a aquestes i altres preguntes per mitjà d'una tertúlia molt participativa.
