El Bosc Inundat representa un fragment de la selva amazònica brasilera, un ric i fràgil ecosistema que conté autèntics tresors mediambientals i científics. Quan hi entris, trobaràs col·leccions d'insectes i llavors d'aquesta zona, i una sèrie d'il·lustracions, manuscrits i recursos multimèdia que et donaran pistes per comprendre el més important d'aquest complex i sorprenent ecosistema.

Frondós, càlid i molt poblat: en aquest trosset de selva, hi viu un centenar d'espècies, entre plantes, invertebrats, peixos, amfibis, rèptils, aus i mamífers. A l'interior podràs observar les formigues talladores de fulles, sentiràs com piula l'ocell sol i contemplaràs com neden el capibara i el caiman entre la vegetació, en un ambient en el qual cada quinze minuts cau una pluja tropical.
