94,000 people saw in 2019 in Barcelona in an orderly and family celebration along Av. Reina Maria Cristina and around the fountains in Montjuïc.

The 24-minute show by the Groupe F company, with Christophe Berthonneau as its artistic director and featuring original music from the creator of sounds Scott Gibbons, combined a performance by four actors suspended in the air with fire, light, fireworks and video projections.

The French Groupe F company consists of experts in creating public outdoor events, in a distinguished show format; specific artistic offerings that have been seen around the world.

The production shown in Barcelona was based on the tradition here of eating 12 individual grapes, one after the other as the bell tolls twelve. Starting from the numerical set with the number 12, the show kicked off recalling the 12 months of the year we were seeing off, on a journey through various spots in the world where 2019 had already arrived; the 12 tolls continued, during which all the scenic features came together; and the 12 wishes for the New Year – one for each month of 2019-, which highlighted several landscapes for evoking places that survive over time.
