Metro
On 24 December, Christmas Eve, the metro service will stop running at 11 pm. On Christmas Day, the metro will be operating from 5 am to 2 am, and on Boxing Day, the service will run until 12 midnight.
On New Year's Eve, the metro will be running an uninterrupted service.
Buses
On 24 December, the last TMB bus services will be departing from their starting points at 10 pm.
On New Year's Eve The metro, TRAM and FGC will be offering a special all-night service
On Twelfth Night All modes of transport (bus, metro, TRAM and FGC) will operate their usual public holiday eve timetable.

Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) will be providing additional services on the metro on Saturdays and Sundays and weekday public holidays in December, with shops open to facilitate mobility in the weeks prior to Christmas, New Year's Eve and Three Kings Day, when there is a significant increase in the numbers of people out shopping, enjoying leisure activities and visits.
The additional services will mainly be during the afternoon/evening off-peak and rush hour periods (between approximately 1 pm and 9 pm) which is when most people are travelling about at weekends. This increase in the number of trains will be on conventional lines, particularly L1 and L3. The stations closest to the shopping areas will also have additional assistance and security staff.
Longer metro service times
On Tuesday 5 and Thursday 7 December, on the eve of two public holidays, the metro services will continue running until 2 am. Trains will remain in service until 12 midnight on the public holidays of 6 and 8 December.
However, on Sunday 24 December, Christmas Eve, the metro service will end, as is usual on this date, at 11 pm. On Christmas Day, the metro will be operating from 5 am to 2 am, and on Boxing Day, the service will run until 12 midnight.
On New Year's Eve, the metro will be running an uninterrupted service.
Reinforcement of the urban bus service
There will also be additional services on the bus network for lines that run through the centre of Barcelona and other shopping hubs on the public holidays when shops are authorised to open for business. Some bus lines will be given articulated vehicles to increase their capacity.

NitBus
On 14 December, a new Nitbus service comes into operation that will run between Barcelona (Rda. St. Pere) and St. Boi de Llobregat every 30 mins. The service will be called N20, and the route covers Gran Via, Bruc, Rda. St. Pere, Rda. Universitat, Sepúlveda and Gran Via.
Also from 14 December, changes to the N13 line route in the centre of Barcelona will come into effect. It will no longer terminate at pl. Catalunya and will instead terminate at Rda. Sant Pere – Bruc, together with the new N20 service.
Ferrocarrils of the Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC)
On 24 December, the service will end at 11.00 pm on all lines. On Christmas Day, the trains will run until 2.00 am, and on Boxing Day, they will run until midnight.
On New Year's Eve, there will be a special all-night service.
TRAM
With regard to the trams, on the night of 24 December, the service will end at 10.00 pm. On Christmas Day it will run until 2.00 am and on Boxing Day, it will run until midnight.
It will also offer a special all-night service on New Year's Eve.
