Barcelona has a wide array of swimming pools where you can get away from the heat for a few hours this summer.

People of Barcelona, there’s no need to feel the heat anymore! We know the high temperatures can take the edge off the holiday time, relaxation and disconnection you so love at this time of the year. Because of this, the city offers thirteen open-air municipal pools where you can bathe on your own, with friends or family, and read, draw or chat between dips.

There are pools for all tastes: from large facilities where you can swim length after length, to more sophisticated spaces and others high up in the city, offering a chance to enjoy a combination of bathing and fine views. Some are even so close to the beach that bathers can choose between the sea or the pool. Others take off their covers to catch that summer vibe. Between them all, they offer plenty to tempt you with.

All these spaces adopt the health measures established by the authorities. Here are the locations of the various pools. Make the most of them!
