New water games area opens in Parc de Joan Miró

The new aquatic play facility in the neighbourhood of Nova Esquerra de l’Eixample is designed for people up to the age of 12 and replaces the Platja de l’Eixample, previously set up in the Jardins de la Torre de les Aigües. The area will be open every day of the week, up until 6 September.

The water play area in the neighbourhood of Nova Esquerra de l’Eixample is designed for people up to the age of 12 and replaces the Platja de l’Eixample, previously set up in the Jardins de la Torre de les Aigües. The area will be open every day of the week, up until 6 September.

The new water games section is located at the multi-sports courts in Parc de Joan Miró, (C/ Aragó, 2) and is divided into different zones. Each space allows young children to take part in water-based recreational activities, with staff on hand to drive things along.

  • Rest and relaxation area
  • Water games area
  • Circuits
  • Waters slides along the ground
  • Jets and sprinklers

What are the opening times?

The facility will be open every day from 10 am to 8 pm, up until 6 September. The maximum capacity at any one time is 120 people (60 children accompanied by an adult) and the maximum time allowed in the area is two hours.

How much does admission cost?

Admission prices are as follows:

  • Individuals: 1,60 euros
  • Groups: 1,20 euros per person (authorised summer schools)
  • Large families and single-parent families: 0,80 euros per person
  • Children under 12 months old and over 65s in possession of a pink card: free
