Enforcement campaign for chauffeur-driven vehicles of up to nine places (VTC)
The City Police today launched an enforcement campaign for vehicles of up to nine places (including driver) to check that they comply with the current regulations and to fine drivers committing infringements. The campaign will run until 14 March at points with high volumes of these vehicles, such as train and bus stations, tourist attractions, shopping areas and the main streets in the city.

Some infringements of the regulations may represent unfair competition or fraud. The goal of the operation is to combat conduct which is not permitted, for instance:
- Parking or circulating with the intention of attracting customers who have not contracted the service in advance.
- Providing service with driving licences revoked or without the mandatory insurance.
- Not having a valid MOT.
- Driving while over the legal alcohol limit or with drugs present in the body or refusing to take the corresponding tests.
- Not complying with established working hours or days of rest.
- Not having the established pricing list.
