Alejo Cuervo

Alejo Cuervo, born in Barcelona in 1959, is a publisher and founder of Gigamesh, the largest fantasy genre bookshop in Europe, affectionately known by fans as ‘El Temple’. From its base in Barcelona’s triangle friki or ‘nerd triangle’, and through the publishing imprint Gigamesh, Cuervo has brought readers the best genre fiction of the past fifty years, along with games, comics and merchandise that were previously impossible to find in Catalonia. In recognition of his contributions, he received the Honorary Award at the second edition of the 42 Festival.
