Antoni Munné‐Jordà, born in Barcelona in 1948, began his career publishing articles in 1972 and released his first short story in 1974. Since then, he has published around fifty short stories and twenty‐five books, mainly novels and narrative works that blend literary experimentation with popular genres, including great achievements such as Michelíada. A scholar and advocate of fantasy literature, and recipient of the 42 Festival Honorary Award, he has recently seen the re‐publication of his short story collection Crònica d’uns quants temps [Chronicle of a Few Times] and his fantasy trilogy El foc sortit de l’aigua [The Fire Born of Water].
