A love story? A psychological drama? Horror fiction? All of that, yes, but above all, a science fiction novel with a fascinating novum: Can a human being fall in love with an artificial intelligence? Lydya, the protagonist of Every Line of You, by Naomi Gibson, does just that. Henry is her project, her life, and also her downfall. Henry is a mirror with shadows, the same mirror that pulsed behind works such as Her and Girl Interrupted, and also behind the famous Black Mirror episode “Be Right Back", among others. It's not surprising that the novel is being translated for sale in fifteen countries when it has just been published in Spanish.

In conversation with the writer, bookseller and biologist Isa J. González, Naomi Gibson takes us into the depths of the novel, tells us about its success and makes us think about a future that, as always, is rushing to embrace us.

Naomi Gibson is a British writer who studied Art History and worked as a surveyor. Her first science fiction novel, Every Line of You, a story of love for an A.I., is being translated for sale in fifteen countries.
