Carmen Romero Lorenzo

Carmen Romero Lorenzo, born in Seville in 1993, holds a double degree in humanities and translation and interpreting, and currently combines writing with literary translation. She is the author of the novel Ritos de primavera [Spring Rites] and has contributed to various short-story anthologies and literary projects. Shortlisted for the Domingo Santos Award in 2017, she also co-created the play Clitemnestra encadenada [Chained Clytemnestra] for the Furor Bacchicus company, with whom she performed for several years. Romero Lorenzo’s work features in the feminist science fiction essay collection Hijas del futuro [Daughters of the Future]. Her latest novel is Reina del Estío [Queen of Summer].
