China Miéville, born in Norwich in 1972, is a bestselling author of fiction and non-fiction, and a winner of the Arthur C. Clarke, World Fantasy, Hugo and British Science Fiction awards, among others. His work spans multiple formats and genres, from novels such as The City & the City, the Bas-Lag trilogy, King Rat and Embassytown, to shorter works such as Iron Council and This Census-Taker, and comics including Dial H. In 2018, The City & the City was adapted into a BBC series, which is currently available on Amazon Prime. His most recent work translated into Spanish and Catalan is The Book of Elsewhere, co-written with actor Keanu Reeves.
