Dying twice: Magic, love and destiny, with V. L. Bovalino
V. L. Bovalino (the literary pseudonym of Tori Bovalino) is well-known to English-language fantasy readers, but her work had not been translated into Spanish until recently. The American writer – who now lives in London – has written six fantasy books featuring dark academia, YA horror and paranormal horror. Now, Bovalino is coming to us with the Spanish translation of The Second Death of Locke (Umbriel), an epic romantasy novel for adults that is sure to be a hit among fans of Rachel Gillig and Alix E. Harrow in particular. This will be the gateway to the work of an author who, in just five years on the literary market, has demonstrated her versatility, born from her passion for gathering fun facts about academic books and her love for scary stories. She will talk about all of this with fellow fantasy writer Carla Campos.
