Laura Huerga

Laura Huerga, born in Barcelona in 1978, is a publisher and founder of fiction and essay publishing house Raig Verd, known in fantasy circles for – among other achievements – its devotion to publishing Ursula K. Le Guin’s works in Catalan, to great acclaim. Since 2022, she has served as chair of the Catalan chapter of PEN. She has written two children’s stories and co-authored her first essay, Tu, calla! [Shut Up!], on freedom of speech and protest. She also writes opinion pieces for El Nacional.
