Laura Tomàs Mora
Laura Tomàs Mora, born in Andorra la Vella in 1982, is a clinical psychologist and a writer of fantasy short stories in both Catalan and Spanish. She has contributed to magazines such as Freakcions, Branca and Narranación, and participated in several anthologies, including Tàndems fantàstics [Fantastic Tandems] (winner of an Ictineu Award), Barcelona 2059 and Extraordinàries [Extraordinary Women]. She has also been an in-house reader at El Transbordador and currently translates stories from English to Catalan for Catarsi magazine. Tomàs Mora is one of the creators and organisers of the BOMOSA Foundation’s Bagaleu Novella Prize for Climate Fiction. She recently published Matermorfosis, her first short-story collection.
