Núria Perpinyà
Núria Perpinyà, born in Lleida in 1961, is a writer and professor of theory and comparative literature at the University of Lleida, specialising in modern and contemporary literature and the works of Gabriel Ferrater. She is the author of the novels Un bon error [A Good Mistake], Una casa per compondre [A House to Compose in], Mistana (Catalan Narrative Critics’ Prize), Al vertigen [Into the Vertigo], I, de sobte, el paradís [And Suddenly, Paradise]and Diatomea. She has also written plays and the poetry collection Cels canviants [Changing Skies]. Her latest book, El cos invisible [The Invisible Body], celebrates classical literature through a playful narrative that explores the human body and its relationship with the world.
