Paul Kingsnorth

(Worcester, 1972) is a writer and environmental activist. His first novel, The Wake, was nominated for the Man Booker Prize, the Folio Prize and the Goldsmiths Prize, and awarded the Gordon Burn Prize. After The Wake published the novels Beast i Alexandria, which make up the Buckmaster thematic trilogy, focused on the relationship of man to nature. The author has also published essays and poetry collections Songs from the Blue River i Kidland and Kidland. In 2022, Alexandria appeares in Catalan.
