David Hidalgo Ramos
David Hidalgo Ramos, born in Madrid in 1987, holds a degree in language and literature and works as a teacher and cultural manager specialising in fantasy, horror and science fiction literature. For over a decade he has coordinated the literary section of the Sui Generis Madrid festival, including its Virtual Reading Club, where he interviews both national and international authors. He has hosted talks and presentations with writers such as Mariana Enríquez, Catriona Ward, Alma Katsu, Paul Tremblay and Xia Jia. Since 2022 he has also curated the ‘Autores entre lectores’ [Authors Among Readers] series of speculative fiction discussions at the Madrid Book Fair. He is one of the co-authors of Grandes temas del cine fantástico [Major Themes in Fantasy Cinema] and Steampunk Cinema, and has contributed short stories and articles to anthologies and specialist publications.
