PARALLEL IRREALITIES (Oral storytelling with Helena Cuesta)
Opening the door and appearing on the other side of the mirror. Visiting what is extraordinary in an adventure disguised as every-day life. Discovering the beauty of what is disconcerting. Playing with time and dreaming, dreaming always. Because yes... (did you doubt it?) there are other Worlds. This session, which offers texts by Frederic Brown, Richard Matheson, A. Bertram Chandler, Jordi Ortiz, Pere Calders, José María Merino and Luis Mateo Díez, among others, is run by the historian, museum educator and oral narrator Helena Cuesta, who usually defines her work by stating: “I love travelling and I don't really know if the tales travel with me, or if I travel with them. Whichever is true, the tales are my home”.
Helena Cuesta is a huge fan of history, literature and the spoken and written word. Although she works as a museum educator and tourist guide, since 2005, she has increasingly developed her work as an oral narrator.
