How can you get more out of Barcelona?

To start enjoying discounts and other advantages, all you have to do is follow some very simple steps.

  • Request a prior appointment at your nearest Citizen Help and Information Office (OAC) by calling 010 or going online.

  • Take an official identification document to the OAC to record your digital fingerprint.

  • A week later, after you have received a confirmation email, you will be able to enjoy everything we have to offer you.

  • When you arrive at a venue where you can get free or discounted admission, identify yourself using your fingerprint or personal details.

Documents you need to take

Registration for anyone over the age of 14

Any of the following official photo ID documents:

  • National ID Document
  • Driving licence
  • Passport
  • Foreign National ID Number (NIE) with photograph
  • ID card from your country of origin (in the case of the European Union, European Economic Area and Switzerland)

Registration for anyone under the age of 14

  • If you wish to register a child under the age of 14, you will need to bring your family book or their birth certificate.
  • If you are not the child's parent or legal guardian, you will need to produce a signed authorisation and a photocopy of the parent or legal guardian's national ID (for signature confirmation).

Children do not need to be present when they are registered.
