Caldera Express'09

Two guests artists, Arthur Rosenfeld and Ana Teixidó, will conduct a two-week laboratory at La Caldera Contemporary Dance and Theatre Centre, in the Gràcia neighbourhood of Barcelona, before presenting their work, a performance entitled Tango a la Bergman. This latest piece by Rosenfeld and Teixidó culminates a series of duets the pair have created since 1986. All revolve around a central theme: life in a couple. All, moreover, seek new metaphors to describe the situations in which couples can find themselves immersed. In this case, taking their inspiration from both the films of Ingmar Bergman and the atmosphere generated by the tango, Arthur and Ana take to the stage to recreate a tango club after closing time, performing truly beautiful and surprising moments.
