An absent husband, her adolescent children and two women, one a close friend, the other a neighbour, orbit around the life of an omnipresent mother, the lady of the house. The playwright Javier Daulte takes his inspiration from his own family in this story, full of love and humour, which has won him accolades and prizes from all quarters in his native Argentina. Javier Daulte has presented several works in Catalonia (4D Òptic, Automátics, ¿Estás ahí?, La felicidad, Com pot ser que t’estimi tant and Intimitat). He is now artistic director at the Sala Villarroel theatre. In 2006, he was awarded the City of Barcelona Prize for Dramatic Art.
