What is the role played by a performer? And a stage? And, going one step further, what use is a spectator? Three artists meditate on subjects and objects, and the roles we assign to them.
Cecilia Colacrai, Mireia de Querol and Anna Rubirola join forces to perform a show in which they suggest changes to the functions that we traditionally assign to bodies and objects, giving spectators a chance to cast a new gaze on things, to make a different take on reality. The idea, then, is to expand the limits of the bodies we see and, by establishing new relations and opening up our imaginations, to look at the stage in a different way. Strange bodies, misplaced objects and apparently useless relations populate a show that seeks to make the spectator an active participant, as we are led to construct a multiple, complex view of a reality whose relative, subjective nature gradually becomes clear.
