The real transcript of a police interrogation becomes a play in which fiction and reality merge in a disturbing game. A work by one of the best-known authors on the contemporary Catalan drama scene today.

A man has been arrested. He is accused of causing a terrible crime. He does not remember anything. Two police inspectors ask him questions to jog his memory. Or, perhaps, to make him believe everything they tell him.

The actual case documents, published by WikiLeaks, are adapted into a theatrical production that invites us to think about what happens to the mind of a man who has committed a terrible crime and how memory attempts to erase the traumatic events in our lives. Are we what we remember or what others tell us that we have done?

Here is an excellent chance to work with real material and turn it into a new fiction, independent from any information that cannot be deduced from the text itself, from the transcription itself, giving it dramatic value and sketching the untold stories of the characters. A new opportunity to understand that reality is material for fiction, how it can generate thousands of questions and make spectators feel distinctly uneasy.
