Institut del Teatre Awards

The Barcelona Institut del Teatre works with the city's other institutions, such as the Barcelona Grec Festival, to offer awards each year that recognise the work of young creators, performers and talent in choreography.

True to its role as a promoter of local talent offering support to the youngest creators, the Barcelona Grec Festival collaborates with the Institut del Teatre, incorporating into the festival two prizes awarded by this teaching institution:

Adrià Gual Award

The Institut del Teatre calls for entries for the Adrià Gual Award every year, to promote the work of young creators and performers. Each edition's successful entry  receives a grant for its production and exhibition, to publicise its artists' talent and facilitate to help to enter the labour market. In addition to a financial prize, recipients of the award are given the chance to show their work during the Barcelona Grec Festival, provided it fits in with the artistic lines and established criteria.
