Measures Covid-19

Below are details of the Barcelona Grec Festival’s COVID-19-prevention protocol as well as the individual measures that everyone attending this year's Festival will have to follow.

 

The festival adhered to the following protocols always in accordance with the current regulations in force:

  • Daily disinfection of every venue.
  • There will be hydroalcoholic gel dispensers at the entrances of every venue.
  • Audience capacity and seat availability will have to comply with the required social distancing rules.
  • Entry to and exit from the venues will be gradual and under the control of accommodation staff to ensure social distancing.
  • No hard copy Festival handouts or programmes will be provided in the venues. Information will only be available online.
  • All the venues will have various entry and exit points in place, where necessary, to prevent crowding.

 

INDIVIDUAL MEASURES:

  • Remember that visitors to any of the festival’s venues must keep to a social distance.
  • It is mandatory for all visitors to wear a mask in closed and public spaces.
  • Entry to and exit from the venues will be in stages. You must always follow the signs and instructions provided by the accommodation staff.
  • You must arrive at the performance venues at least 30 minutes before their shows start, to enable the audience's gradual admission. Otherwise we cannot guarantee the seat you chose at the time of your ticket’s purchase (check below for further information on each venue).
  • We recommend you bring your ticket downloaded to your mobile to avoid as far as possible any contact with paper.
  • If you think you have symptoms of COVID-19 infection or you have been in contact with someone diagnosed with the virus, stay at home. We’ll certainly have the opportunity to meet again in theatres as soon as possible.

TEATRE GREC INSTRUCTIONS AND PROTOCOLS:

  • The performance starts at 10 pm, unless otherwise stated. See times.
  • Access points to the Teatre Grec's gardens will open at 8 pm.
  • Check below for your seat's access point and times (shown on the ticket with letters A, B, C, D, E and F and row and seat numbers).
  • You will need to arrive at the theatre at least 30 minutes before the show begins to enable the gradual admission of the audience. Otherwise we cannot guarantee the seat you chose at the time of your ticket’s purchase.
  • We recommend you bring your ticket downloaded to your mobile to avoid as far as possible any contact with paper.
  • The restaurant service   at 8 pm: for Teatre Grec ticket holders only/ and at10 pm: open to the general públic. Open on performance days. Information and reservation Tel./Whatsapp: 682 77 62 99/ Email: reserves@cafebelgradoesgrec.com  
  • A bus service departing every 5 minutes will operate every day, except Fridays and Saturdays, for audiences leaving the Teatre Grec after the show has ended. The buses will link the Teatre Grec to Plaça d’Espanya, Plaça de la Universitat and, finally, Plaça de Catalunya.

 

RETURNING TICKETS:
People who, due to Covid-19, are unable to attend an event for which they already have tickets, are entitled to request the reimbursement of the price of the ticket. They must present a PCR or a medical document that certifies they have tested positive or need to self-isolate on the day of the performance, before 3 pm on the day of the event.

ENTRY POINTS TO THE TEATRE GREC'S GARDENS:
The gardens will open at 8 pm (and at 5.30 pm in the specific case of Grec en Família).

ACCESS TIMES TO THE TEATRE GREC'S SEATS:
The amphitheatre will open at 9.15 pm and admission will be gradual. 

Access for people with REDUCED MOBILITY, WOMEN WHO ARE PREGNANT AND PEOPLE WITH OTHER SPECIAL NEEDS.
Entry to the gardens will be through the place indicated for the seat purchased.
You are advised to notify the venue of your situation in advance by emailing to publicteatregrec@comedianet.com.
The rest of the audience will then be admitted to their seats, in accordance with the times for each row. Access will always be through gates A, B, C, D, E or F, as stated on the ticket.

Anyone unable to get to the theatre at the time allocated for their seat, will be able to access it at 10 pm, according to the instructions given by customer-care and accommodation staff and respecting the safety measures.
