Hoy no estrenamos

L’Om Imprebís

Teatre Poliorama

From June 30 to July 4

A bilingual comedy in Valencian and Spanish that originally came to Madrid for a four-week run in 2022 but ended up staying for eight months. That’s the backstory of Hoy no estrenamos, a production featuring two actors, Carles Castillo and Carles Montoliu, who transform into a dozen characters as soon as they hit the stage. No, this is not a miracle of loaves and fishes but rather a testament to the virtuosity of the performers, directed by the seasoned Santiago Sánchez and Michel Lopez, with the presence of the young musician and actor Víctor Lucas, who plays a non-binary character. All in all, Hoy no estrenamos is a love letter to theatre that captivates audiences from the very first moment.

The production is being brought to the stage by L’Om Imprebís, a versatile company with more than forty years of history. They have staged great classics of world dramaturgy, comedic plays, original creations and hidden gems of contemporary theatre. At the helm is Santiago Sánchez, a multifaceted theatre talent who directs, performs, manages and creates, always championing an artistic vision based on simplicity, dialogue and theatrical ingenuity.

A production by L’Om Imprebís.
